| Allen and his wife Dimitra had been searching for some time for the perfect place that would be their first home. It needed to check many boxes in order to fulfil their needs; one of which was to stay close to the family. When they finally found their dream home they didn’t need to look any further than their very own Telstra Credit Union to make it their own! “I’ve been a member of Telstra Credit Union for so many years now, so of course they were our first choice. We didn’t even bother to look anywhere else; to us, there was really only one option” says Allen. “In all my previous dealings with the Credit Union I’ve never experienced a single moment of frustration – not one. This was not the case when I used to deal with the big banks” Being a first home buyer, Alan was the first to admit his naivety in the whole home buying process; however Telstra CU’s Home Loans Specialist, Geoff Loone and Loans Specialist Helen Tejaya, “were extremely helpful and kept everything nice and simple” says Allen. |

| Brother and Sister duo, Emma and Gregory Le Breton had a desire to upgrade from their apartment style living into a great new home situated in Sydney’s stunning Northern Beaches. They decided to pool their funds together when they found the perfect place – two self contained homes on the one block – what a find! When it came to choosing who to talk to about a Home Loan, Emma and Gregory decided to steer clear of the big banks, “We’re just really turned off with the big banks. They’re so impersonal” says Emma. “Our whole family are with Telstra CU and hold their mortgages there. To us, being with the credit union just feels right” When speaking of the loan application process, Emma found the personalised service provided by Telstra CU Loans Specialist, Geoff Loone, to be remarkable. “He just knows me. When I call, I don’t even have to say my last name, he knows who I am. If we had any questions or problems, he sorted them out without a worry”.
