| Verified by Visa gives you the peace of mind of knowing no-one but you can use your Visa card online. From the 14th October 2010, Verified by Visa (VbV) has been upgraded with enhanced security and new functionality to make online shopping easier. You will no longer have to register your Visa card for VbV. Your card will be registered automatically. It’s that safe. And that simple! |
| What do I need to do? |
| Absolutely nothing! All credit union Visa cards are now pre-registered for Verified by Visa. This means as soon as you activate your new Visa card you are ready to shop online. You will be asked to verify your identity every time you shop online with a participating Verified by Visa merchant. The appearance of a “Titanium – Verified by Visa” window will confirm your transaction is being authenticated by the Credit Union. Entry of key details will confirm you really are the authorised cardholder. After the new Verified by Visa authentication process verifies your identity, the transaction will be completed as normal and you will have the peace of mind of knowing no-one but you can use your Visa card online.
