| Telstra CU is a major supporter of The Fred Hollows Foundation and in particular, the program that works to improve the health and life expectancy of Indigenous Australians. Our donations are made up of staff donations and 1 cent of Credit Union funds for every dollar paid in interest for the iSaver account. The money donated by the Credit Union goes to an Indigenous Australians program, helping improve not only eye sight but also health, literacy and culture. To date, our members and staff have helped the Credit Union donate $42,314.36. To put this into perspective, given that one person’s sight can be restored for just $25, this donation represents 1,692 sight restoring operations! |
